B2A Thailand birding trip report.
Central plains and NP + mountains of the North, 12-25 January 2025

Participants; Granger B Ward (USA), Alann Weismann-Ward (USA), Stijn De Win (Belgium)

Laem Pak Bia and Pak Thale wader areas, Kaeng Krachan National Park,
Wat Inthanin, Mae Wong, Mae Ping, Doi Inthanon, Doi Lo, Mae Taeng,
Doi Ang Khan, Doi Lang, Thaton, Chiang Dao

Opted to close bookings and run this tour as a private trip aiming for quality as always ;-) Of course it ran smooth resulting in a successful journey full of birds and so many other delights nature in Thailand always has on offer. This will not be a long tour report pointing out every bird we scored, just some trip photos and a little list with a few highlights from every site we visited. Note all photos were taken "on" the tour with a lightweight 300mm lens, not even getting the reach of a proper birding lens. No focus or extra time was spent on photography, all are opportunity shots only. I think it just shows how rewarding a Thailand birding trip can be. If you like the photos you'll know where to go next! Now I only need to add thanks to the people of Thailand and many thanks to Granger and Alann for the delightful company they were throughout our journey... excuse me my reach :-) Sweet!!
